Former President of the Senate Dr Saraki Loses Mother, Mrs Florence Morenike Saraki
In a heartfelt announcement on his verified social media handle, X, former President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki revealed the sad news of his mother’s passing. Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, a beloved figure and matriarch, peacefully transitioned on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.
Dr. Saraki expressed his grief, saying, ““With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned today, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.”
The former Kwara State Governor noted that details about funeral arrangements will be shared in due course as the family prepares to bid farewell to their cherished matriarch.
He added, “We appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we mourn Mama’s passing.”
