A new international media outlet, “Why Not Africa?”, has launched in Canada, featuring in-depth interviews with Peter Obi, the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party in Nigeria.

The platform aims to catalyze transformative conversations on governance, health, talent cultivation, education, and sustainable development in Africa.

In an elaborate seven-part interview series, Fahad Amir, the main anchor of “Why Not Africa?”, engaged Peter Obi on various topics, including resources, education, ethnicity and religion, healthcare, Africans in the diaspora, corruption, and more.

“Why Not Africa?” is a premier platform where progressive conversations drive transformation in Africa.

The media outlet’s mission is to address and unpack the complexities that have historically restrained Africa’s progress, with a goal of shaping a future where Africa’s potential is fully realized.

Through in-depth dialogues, “Why Not Africa?” challenges the status quo, asking tough questions about the barriers to progress while highlighting and learning from success stories across the continent.

The platform engages in critical and constructive conversations, grounded in the realities of African lives and aimed at tangible outcomes.

The interview series with Peter Obi will be posted in seven parts, starting with “Obi on Resources” on August 9th, followed by “Obi on Education” on August 12th, and subsequent topics on August 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st, and 23rd.

“Why Not Africa?” is more than a discussion forum; it is a think tank and an incubator for ideas that drive change.

By bringing together thought leaders, policymakers, community voices, and global experts, the platform fosters a dynamic exchange of ideas that can shape a more prosperous, healthy, and equitable Africa.
