Former Katsina State Deputy Governor, Mannir Yakubu, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua, the matriarch of the Yar’Adua family, who died at the remarkable age of 102.

Yakubu, who was received by Senator Abdul Aziz Yar’Adua upon his arrival, condoled the family and described the late Hajiya Dada as a mother of prominent key figures in Nigerian politics, whose impact cannot be fully expressed in words.

The former Deputy Governor extended his condolences to the entire nation and prayed for the repose of Hajiya Dada’s soul, as well as for fortitude and comfort for the family to bear the loss. His message was signed by Ibrahim Musa Kallah, Chief Press Secretary to Mannir Yakubu.
