Ministry of Defence Mourns the Passing of Chief of Army Staff

The Ministry of Defence has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja.

In a heartfelt press release, WednesdaMajor General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbajay, which was signed by Henshaw Ogubike, Director, Information and Public Relations, at the Ministry, the Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, alongside the Minister of State for Defence, H.E. Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, and the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, extended their deepest condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Army, and the bereaved family.
