Late Nollywood Policeman Ayo Emmanuel to be Buried November 29

The remains of renowned Nollywood actor Ayo Emmanuel, popular for his police roles, will be laid to rest on Friday, November 29, 2024. Emmanuel passed away on October 23, 2024, after a battle with prostate cancer. He was 60 years old at the time of his death.

According to the funeral arrangements, a Service of Songs held on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 4 pm at his father’s compound, Okeolu Street, Iponrin, Lagos.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10 am at RCCG Rivers Of Living Water Chapel, 35b, Abule Nla Road, Ebute Metta, Lagos.Ayo Emmanuel, popularly known as Nollywood Policeman

Interment will follow immediately after the service at his father’s compound, Okeolu Street, Iponrin, Lagos. A reception will be held at Angelica Hall, 53, Abule Nla Road, Ebute Metta, Lagos.

Ayo Emmanuel is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, brother, and cousins. He will be remembered for his iconic roles as a policeman in numerous Nollywood movies.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) had earlier announced his passing, describing him as a “beloved uncle, Brother, and Father.”

Ayo Emmanuel is known for Itedara (2022), If I Am President (2018), and the Stroke of Luck (2019), among others.
