How Governor Ododo Joined Others to Celebrates Children at State House

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on May 27 graced the 2025 Children’s Day Celebration held at the Conference Centre, State House Abuja.

Governor Ododo was represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu.

The ceremony was hosted by the Federal Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Environment (AGILE), and the World Bank Group.

Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, served as the special guest of honour.How Governor Ododo Joined Others to Celebrates Children at State House

The event was attended by Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum; Governor Babagana Umar Zulum of Borno State; Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State; Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State; alongside many Deputy Governors, Ministers, and top Government officials.

His Eminence Muhammed Sa’ad Abubakar III, CFR, Sultan of Sokoto, His Royal Highness, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, the CAN Chairman, Northern Nigeria, and other leaders of faith where also in attendance.

During the celebration, the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Environment (AGILE), Additional Financing Project and the AGILE Games Award Ceremony was officially launched.
