Nasarawa State witnessed a remarkable celebration as Hon. Aminu Mu’azu Maifata, Commissioner for Local Governments, Community Development, and Chieftaincy Affairs, celebrates the union of two daughters on the same day.

The family hosted tens of thousands of guests from Friday, July 18th to Saturday, July 20th, in Lafia, the state capital.

The traditional Fatiha ceremony marked the beginning of the joyous occasion, as Adama Aminu Mu’azu and her sister, Fatima Ilu Musa, prepared to embark on their respective marital journeys.

The extraordinary coincidence brought a sense of unity, harmony, and jubilation, highlighting the unbreakable bond between the sisters.

The Emir’s Palace played host to the exceptional event, which was held in accordance with Muslim rites. The ceremony was attended by a multitude of friends and dignitaries, including the Emirate Council, traditional rulers, chiefs, members of the state Executive Council, ALGON National delegation, and representatives of the 13 Local Governments in Nasarawa.

In his heartfelt speech, Hon. Maifata expressed gratitude to Allah for the honor bestowed upon the family and prayed for blessings in the marriages of his daughters. He advised them to be good wives and continue to excel in their personal and moral development.

The event was a joyous celebration of love, family, and community, strengthening the bond between the sisters and forging new connections among the guests.

As the newlyweds began their marital journeys, they were showered with gifts, well-wishes, and prayers for a lifetime of happiness and prosperity.
