Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, was the Guest of Honour at the formal Pulling-Out Ceremony of the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), held today, Friday, October 31, 2025, at the Army Headquarters Garrison Command, Mogadishu Cantonment, Asokoro, Abuja.
The ceremony was attended by the new Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede; the Service Chiefs; the Inspector General of Police; senior military officers ( serving and retired), as well as family members, friends, and well-wishers.
The Pulling-Out Ceremony is a revered military tradition celebrating officers who have served with distinction and have completed their service to the nation with dignity and pride.
