Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to education and national development during an inspection tour of the Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School.
The Street Reporters Newspaper reports that the Governor, who visited the school to assess its facilities and ongoing work, described the institution as a testament to the administration’s dedication to delivering quality education and empowering young Nigerians with the skills and opportunities needed to excel.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Ododo expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for his visionary leadership and consistent support for the education sector, noting that such interventions are vital to building a productive and prosperous future for the nation.
“The inspection tour is aimed at assessing the progress of ongoing projects to ensure they align with the government’s development agenda and meet the required specifications,” Governor Ododo stated.
He highlighted that the Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School is one of the flagship projects initiated under the administration of former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, which underscores Kogi State’s sustained investment in education and human capital development.
In his remarks, the Olu of Oke-Ibukun, His Royal Highness Oba Timothy Ige, commended Governor Ododo and President Tinubu for their commitment to improving educational infrastructure in the state.
He pledged the community’s continuous support for government initiatives aimed at promoting education and development.
