Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has extended warm felicitations to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Delta State, Sir Festus Ahon, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement released on Monday, Aniagwu described Ahon as a dedicated professional whose commitment to accurate reporting and effective communication has continued to support the success of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration.

He noted that Ahon’s wealth of experience in journalism and public communication has been instrumental in bridging the gap between government policies and the people.

Aniagwu commended the CPS for his humility, loyalty, and diligence, adding that his work ethic reflects a deep passion for the growth and development of Delta State.

“Sir Festus Ahon is a thoroughbred journalist and a dependable public servant. His contributions to the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori have been outstanding.

“On behalf of my family and the Ministry of Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, I celebrate him and wish him greater heights in the years ahead,” Aniagwu said.

He prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and wisdom for Ahon as he continues to serve the state.

Ahon, a former Delta State correspondent with Vanguard newspaper, was appointed Chief Press Secretary in 2023 and has since played a key role in coordinating the governor’s media engagements and public messaging.
