Nigerian troops on Thursday successfully cleared terrorists out of Madagali, the last major town held by Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria’s Adamawa State, even as troops of the 33 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Army, had earlier concluded the dislodgement and clearing of Boko Haram terrorists from Lame/Burra forest, which traverse Ningi and Torro Local Government Areas of Bauchi State.

The forest has been a notorious hideout of the Boko Haram terrorists from where they organize raids, kidnappings and attacks on hapless and innocent citizens and security forces.

During the operation which started since last weekend, a number of terrorists were killed; their weapons and equipment destroyed, while a sizeable number of arms, ammunitions, foodstuffs, Hilux vehicles, motorcycles and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were captured by the troops.
