Let’s have an honest conversation about the future of Bende.
Infrastructure matters. Roads matter. Electricity, schools, healthcare facilities and other physical projects are essential to community development.
But human beings remain the greatest infrastructure of any society.
Bende is blessed with a large population of young people with the energy, ideas, creativity and ambition to transform their communities. The real question is: what happens when we deliberately invest in these people?
We produce skilled entrepreneurs.
We produce employable graduates.
We nurture innovators.
We create business owners.
And, most importantly, we empower young people to create opportunities for others.
That is why human capital development must occupy a central place in the conversation about Bende’s future.
With the right people-focused policies, skills acquisition programmes, access to finance and opportunities, mentorship, entrepreneurship support and sustainable empowerment initiatives, Bende’s youthful population can become one of the constituency’s greatest assets.
This is also why Chima Anyaso’s record of humanitarian intervention and support for people deserves serious and objective examination as voters assess the choices before them.
Leadership, ultimately, is about people.
Projects can be photographed, commissioned and celebrated.
But empowered people become living legacies—people who can build businesses, create jobs, support families, mentor others and continue transforming society long after any politician has left office.
As 2027 approaches, Bende voters deserve more than slogans and campaign promises.
Let us ask every candidate the important questions:
What is your record?
What is your capacity?
What exactly is your plan for human capital development?
What measurable commitments will you make to the people?
Because the future of Bende should not only be about what we build.
It should also be about WHO WE BUILD.
