Early Sunday morning, explosions were reported at a church in Angwan Yashi, Tudun
Wada area of Jos in Plateau State.
TheStreetReporters.com gathered that the explosives were planted in the toilet of the church identified as the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA).
Four of the explosives were detonated before security men in the church got to the toilet where they were planted.
When the security men combed the premises, they discovered another explosive, which they threw over the fence before it exploded.
Yet another explosive was discovered by the anti-bomb squad of the Nigeria Police when the operatives arrived.
It was said to have been successfully defused.
No casualty has been reported in the incident, which happened at about 8am.
The explosion occured one week after a similar
explosion at a Redeemed Church in Yobe State claimed many lives.
