Nigeria has confirmed five new cases of coronavirus in its COVID-19 updates as confirmed cases hit 70, The Street Reporters Newspaper reports.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the number of COVID-19 patients in a tweet on Friday night, with Lagos recording no new case.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) which has trailed Lagos as the second worst-hit recorded three new cases while two were confirmed in Oyo State.
As of 8 p.m. on March 27, the NCDC stressed that three patients have been discharged with only one death recorded.
