BREAKING: Abuja Office of INEC on Fire

The national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Abuja is on fire.

Reports say the media centre has been affected by the fire incident which occurred on on Friday morning.

While what caused the fire is still unknown, firemen were already battling to put out the inferno.

The Street Reporters Newspaper also gathered that the office of the Director of Voter’s Registration, Emmauel Akem was affected by the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined as both Federal and FCT Fire Service men and other responders, coordinated by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were battling to extinguish the fire at the time of this report.

In the last one week, two federal government establishments, the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation and the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), have been gutted by fire.
