72 kwara APC Elders Declares Total Support for Governor AbdulRazaq
72 members of the ilorin west Apc Elder Forum have organised a special prayer for the success of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasazaq’s administration.
The prayer which was held in ilorin, in total compliant to the Covid-19 protocol of social distancing and wearing of face mask witnessed a large gathering of those who matters in political space of the local government.
Islamic Cleric,Alhaji Umar Abdulahi Agbarigidoma Al-adabiy who conducted the special prayer, pray for Allah’s protection for the Governor and his entire cabinet, he prayed Allah to help sustain the current dividends of democracy which the state is enjoying today.
Earlier in his welcome address, the chairman, ilorin west Apc Elders Forum, Alhaji Baba Olosasa explained the purpose of the special prayer, he said the prayer was organised in order to fortify Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and his cabinet spiritually, saying that available evidences have shown that the governor is performing to the expectations of those who want progress for the state.
He declared that all the 72 members of Apc Elders in the local government are in total support of the governor.
According to the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Baba Jibril Issa who represented the Wife of the governor, he stated that the fact that the state government identify with the organisers of the programme shows that AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq believe in the efficacy of prayer.
Member, representing Ajikobi / Alanamu Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdulgafar Ayinla Ayilara rated the performance of AbdulRazaq very high, he said the prayer could’nt have come at a better time than now.
Hon Suleiman Tegidini who is the chairman of Apc in ilorin west local government called for continuing understanding by the peoples, saying that for sixteen years the state have not make any reasonable progress.
Other dignitaries that graced the occasion includes Lawyer Kunle Suleiman, Alhaji Mustapha Kobe, Alhaji Baba Adefalu, Apc State publicity secretar, Alhaji Tajudeen Aro, Alhaji Isiak Olorundara, representative of Kwara Central Senator, Dr Yahaya Oloriegbe, Abdulmajeed Temidire amongst others.
