BREAKING: Obaseki Officially Re-elected Edo Governor for 2nd Term, Floors Ize-Iyamu, His Godfather, Oshiomhole
The incumbent Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has won the September 18, 2020 governorship election.
He is to govern Edo state for a second term of four years following the his declaration after official results were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He defeated the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole backed candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by 84,336 votes.
Earlier, The Street Reporters Newspaper reported that Obaseki maintained the lead as the result trickled in.Â
