The Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari and other dignitaries have condoled the state Deputy Governor over the death of his elder sister. This is even as hundreds of others attended the funeral prayer of Hajiya Hadiza Yakubu, an elder sister to the Katsina State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu at the age 74 years.

She left behind four children, grand children and relations.

She was burried at Danmarna grave yard in katsina metropolis.

Governor Masari was at the burial to condole the Deputy Governor.

The Governor on his arrival was received by the Deputy Governor Mannir Yakubu and members of the state executive council.

Early callers include members of Katsina State Executive Council, Legislative Council, both State and federal.

Also on condolence visit to the Deputy Governor was the Chief Judge of Katsina State, Justice Musa Abubakar Danladi, among others.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Musa Kallah noted in statement that the funeral prayers was led by Imam Mustapha of katsina Central Mosque as special prayers were held for Allah mercy on the deceased.
