Yoruba Youths Congratulate Aregbesola, Hail NUJ on Minister’s Investiture as Grand Patron, Award Conferment

Yoruba youths under the umbrella of the Grand Council of Yoruba Youths has congratulated Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola and praised the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), South West Zone, on the planned investiture of the minister as Grand Patron and conferment of award of excellence on him.

The Yoruba youths in a statement signed by President-General of the Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba (Grand Council of Yoruba Youths), Comrade AWA Bamiji, the council said:

“This is to identify with and congratulate our long standing Partner in Progress, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Southwest Zone, as it sets to do investiture for the Honourable Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, as Grand Patron of Nigerian Union of Journalists, Southwest Zone, as well conferment of Award of Excellence on him on Friday, 26th March, 2021, at NUJ Press Centre, Iyanganku, Ibadan, Oyo State, by 11:00am prompt.

“It is on this note, we are directing members of various credible Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Non – Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Youths’ and Students’ Organisations, as well as all Patriotic Nigerians, to join us in rolling out the drums and blaring the Trumpets to celebrate this renowned Human Rights’ Activist and revolutionary Leader of all seasons and the Organiser, NUJ Southwest Zone, on this occasion as scheduled”, Comrade AWA Bamiji said.
