Coalition for A Better Nigeria in conjunction with Governments of Lagos Island and by extension, Government of Lagos State, invite you to the 11th National Discourse of the Coalition for A Better Nigeria, celebrating Bashorun MKO Abiola Epetedo self Declaration @ 28 with topic, “Epetedo Declaration @ 28: “Remember 1993, Think 2023”, “Impact of Drug Abuse in our Society” and “Role of Civil Societies in Anti Corruption fight”, to be discussed by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Barrister Festus Keyamo, SAN, Gen. Buba Marwa (Rtd), Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, and Eze Goodluck Obi, the Hon Minister of Interior, the Hon Minister of State for Labour, the Executive Chairman, Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and Ofo Ubulu Ihejiofo of dim Ubulu Ihejiofo Ancient Kingdom, Oru West Local Government Area, Imo State, respectively under the Chairmanship of Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, former 2 term Governor of Kano State (Northern Part of Nigeria).

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the Special Guest of Honour while the Guests of Honour are Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN; Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun, Executive Governors of Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Ogun States.

Keynote address is to be delivered by Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Moderator: Alhaji Yerima Shettima and Comrade (Hon) Ibrahim Bolomope, President, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum; and former member, House of Assembly, Oyo State, who doubles as a former President, Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Oyo State respectively.

Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim and Mrs Ayo Obe, 3 term Governor of Yobe State (also 3 term Senator, Yobe East) and a former President, Civil Liberty Organisation (CLO) respectively are father and mother of the Day. Chief Host is Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State, on Saturday, 11 June, 2022, at Nigerian Democracy Centre, or Eleganza Sports Center, old Epetedo Hall, Dumare Street, Lagos Island East LCDA, Lagos, by 11am prompt.

Prince Adetoyese Olusi and Hon Muibi Alade Folawiyo, Executive Chairman, Lagos Island Local Government and Executive Chairman, Lagos Island East LCDA respectively are the Hosts.

This historic endorsement of the venue as NIGERIA’S DEMOCRACY CENTRE/INTERNATIONAL TOURIST CENTRE, is to be supervised by the Executive (led by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR) and Legislative (led by Senator Ahmed Lawan) arms of Government.
