The Abia Rejoice Movement has officially endorsed Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (CDA) as its preferred and sole aspirant for the Labour Party’s House of Representatives ticket for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced during a stakeholders’ meeting of the movement held in Bende, where leaders, executives and members unanimously expressed confidence in Dr. Anyaso’s leadership qualities, developmental vision and commitment to the progress of the constituency.
Receiving the endorsement, Dr. Anyaso expressed profound appreciation to the Founder of the Abia Rejoice Movement and former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, OON, for his steadfast encouragement and support. He also thanked members of the movement for the overwhelming confidence they have placed in him.
He described the endorsement as a significant expression of trust and a renewed mandate to deepen his commitment to the people of Bende.
“I receive this endorsement with deep gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility. It strengthens my resolve to continue serving our people with humility, transparency, dedication and unwavering commitment to their welfare,” Dr. Anyaso said.
He pledged to continue championing programmes and initiatives that would promote sustainable development, empower the people and improve the socio-economic fortunes of Bende Federal Constituency.
The philanthropist and business leader also appealed to members of the Abia Rejoice Movement and other political stakeholders to remain united as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
According to him, unity, collective purpose and people-centred leadership remain essential to achieving lasting development and delivering meaningful representation for the constituency.
The endorsement positions the Abia Rejoice Movement among the earliest organised political support groups in Bende Federal Constituency to openly declare support for a preferred Labour Party candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections, signalling growing momentum for Dr. Anyaso’s aspiration.
