Edo to Reconstitute Youth Parliament, Calls for Application

Following the expiration of the tenure of the first Edo Youth Parliament, the Edo State Government is set to reconstitute the parliament, calling for applications from interested and eligible youths in the State.

In a statement, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Eire Ifueko Alufohai, said the youths should be between the ages of 18 and 29 years old, noting that the deadline for submission of applications is Friday, 21st July, 2023.

Alufohai said, “This is to inform the general public, especially the youths of Edo State between the ages of 18 and 29 years old, who are interested in applying for the Second Session of the Edo State Youth Parliament, to submit their application letter to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs.”

The Permanent Secretary explained: “Please ensure that you attach your Curriculum Vitae (CV), a copy of your Local Government of Origin Certificate, Birth Certificate, Primary School Leaving Certificate, credentials, and an office file.”

She added, “Interested youths must possess at least a Senior School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) and should be able to read and write in the English Language. The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, 21st July 2023.”
