The Vice Chancellor of Delta State University of Science and Technology (DSUST), Ozoro, Prof. Jacob Oboreh, has urged students to exercise caution and avoid participating in any planned protests across the country.
He made this appeal during an interactive session with students at the university’s 1,200-capacity auditorium in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area.
Prof. Oboreh emphasized the institution’s commitment to accountability and concern for the well-being of its students, whom he affectionately referred to as “my children.”
He cautioned that any misfortune affecting students would be deeply felt by the university authorities, and therefore advised them to steer clear of any violence-related activities.
Instead, the Vice Chancellor encouraged students to focus on their studies, emphasizing the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving their career goals.
He stressed that the university is committed to providing a conducive learning environment and supporting students in their academic pursuits.
By cautioning students against participating in protests, Prof. Oboreh aims to ensure their safety and well-being, while also emphasizing the importance of prioritizing their education and future careers.
