Delta State Governor, Oborevwori Celebrates State’s 33rd Anniversary, Praises God For Progress

Asaba, Delta State – Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has attributed the state’s steady growth and development to God’s guidance and protection. Speaking at a thanksgiving service to mark the state’s 33rd anniversary, Governor Oborevwori said, “Only God can protect, guide, and lead us to succeed as a state.”

The Governor noted that despite trials and challenges, Delta State has evolved into a strong and vibrant component of the Nigerian federation, renowned for its entrepreneurial drive and passion.Delta State at 33 Anniversary

He assured Deltans that the state would continue to develop and improve, with his administration investing heavily in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social investment programs.

Governor Oborevwori also commended Deltans for their peaceful conduct during recent protests and pledged to continue prioritizing peace and security in the state.

The thanksgiving service featured prayers for the state, a sermon by Pastor Shiyanbade Adekunle, and a lesson read by Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme.
