Her promotion and decoration was part of a larger exercise that saw 100 officers elevated to the rank of Commandant of Corps (CC).
Overjoyed by the achievement, Nnadi expressed her gratitude and reaffirmed her dedication to contributing her best to the security sector.
She highlighted the essential role women play in the country’s development and its security architecture, urging greater involvement of women in positions of responsibility.
“Women have a vital role to play in shaping the future of our country, especially in ensuring the security of our nation,” she emphasized.
In congratulating her fellow officers, Nnadi Chigozie Helen called on them to remain resilient and diligent in their service, encouraging her colleagues to embrace the responsibilities that come with their new ranks.
The Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, emphasized the importance of promoting deserving officers, describing it as a key factor in motivating personnel to excel in their duties.
“When I assumed office, there was a backlog of promotions, but we have addressed that. Promotions are now regular, and officers can be assured of career progression without stagnation,” Dr. Audi said.
While congratulating the newly promoted officers, the Commandant General charged them to live up to their new roles with relentless dedication, assuring them that prompt and fair promotions will continue to be a hallmark of his leadership.
The promotion marks a new chapter in Nnadi’s career and signals NSCDC’s continued efforts to bolster the leadership ranks with qualified and committed officers.
