The 8th President of the Rotary Club of Abuja Sapphire, Dr. Pat Ifeanyi Oramah, has extended heartfelt appreciation to fellow Rotarians, distinguished guests, friends, and well-wishers whose support and presence made his investiture ceremony a memorable success.
In a statement titled “Appreciation Note,” Dr. Oramah described the occasion as “a memorable and meaningful” milestone, made possible by the collective goodwill and encouragement he received before, during, and after the event.
“Your presence, words of encouragement, and diverse forms of support, before, during, and after the event, mean more to me than words can fully express,” he said, underscoring the depth of his gratitude.
Acknowledging the unique role of each group in making the event special, Dr. Oramah expressed his “deep gratitude” to members of the club for their fellowship and commitment, to distinguished guests for honoring the club with their presence, and to friends and well-wishers whose goodwill “added so much warmth to the celebration.”
Looking ahead to the new Rotary year, Dr. Oramah appealed for sustained collaboration in advancing the club’s mission. He reaffirmed his focus on what he called the club’s “Four-Point Agenda,” aimed at driving impact through polio eradication, hepatitis awareness and prevention, combating diabetes through early detection and awareness, and empowering persons living with disabilities.
“With your partnership, I am confident that we will not only make remarkable progress but also leave a lasting mark in the lives of those we serve,” he declared, adding that the year would be one of “impact, achievement, and service above self.”
Closing his message, the president pledged to lead with dedication and a vision for positive change. “Thank you once again for your trust and support,” he wrote, signing off with the words, “Yours in Rotary Service.”
Dr. Oramah’s appreciation note not only reflected gratitude but also set a clear tone of service-driven leadership, reinforcing Rotary’s enduring commitment to humanitarian impact.
