Under the dynamic leadership of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, has continued to demonstrate commitment, loyalty, and excellence in the discharge of his duties.

A seasoned banker and financial expert, Jobe has brought professionalism, prudence, and integrity into governance, earning recognitions for transparency and accountability.

In the health sector, the administration has recorded remarkable improvements. More than one hundred Primary Health Centres were upgraded across the 34 local governments, while major hospitals in different parts of the state received comprehensive renovations.

The Deputy Governor and Sarkin Fulanin Jobe also supervised the conversion of isolation facilities into a psychiatric hospital and ensured the expansion of the free Medicare policy covering maternal care, dialysis, and caesarean surgeries.

On security, the government has remained resolute in its commitment to restore peace and protect lives. Through the Katsina Community Watch Corps, security infrastructure was enhanced, logistics and communication support were provided, and thousands of trained personnel were deployed to frontline areas. Relief and compensation were also extended to victims of banditry and displaced persons, with the Deputy Governor playing a key coordinating role.

Education has also witnessed significant transformation under the present administration. New model secondary schools were constructed, hundreds of classrooms rehabilitated, and schools equipped with modern digital learning tools. Special focus was given to empowering girls through conditional support, while technical education and youth skills acquisition programmes were expanded. The scholarship scheme was also broadened to reach students across tertiary institutions.

Agriculture and rural livelihoods have been strengthened. Livestock was distributed across all wards, farmers were supported with improved seeds and irrigation facilities, while veterinary services were expanded to protect animal health. These interventions are helping to improve food security, create wealth, and support households across rural communities.

Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal Jobe, under the leadership of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, remains a dependable partner in governance and a bridge between government and the people.
