The Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), Enugu State Chapter, has commended the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Chief Frank Anioma (Ezesinachi), for their exemplary roles in sustaining political harmony, stability, and constructive engagement across the state as political activities gradually build up ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The coalition noted in statement jointly signed by Chief Hon. Dr. Innocent Ezeoha, State Coordinator; Dr. Afam Ani, Chairman; and Barr. Ken Ikeh, Secretary, that the peaceful political atmosphere currently prevailing in Enugu State is a testament to Governor Mbah’s inclusive leadership style and the strategic, mature, and diplomatic handling of political affairs by Chief Frank Anioma.
According to CRPP, while political activities and alignments ahead of future elections have begun to gather momentum across the country, Enugu State has continued to distinguish itself through a culture of dialogue, consultation, mutual respect, and issue-based political engagement.
“The Coalition of Registered Political Parties is impressed by the level of political stability being witnessed in Enugu State under the administration of Governor Peter Mbah. The administration has demonstrated that governance and politics can be managed in a manner that promotes peace, development, and democratic consolidation.”
The coalition particularly praised Chief Frank Anioma, popularly known as Ezesinachi, describing him as a seasoned political mobilizer and bridge-builder whose calm disposition and strategic engagement have contributed significantly to fostering understanding among stakeholders across the political spectrum.
“Chief Frank Anioma has brought wisdom, tact, and remarkable political maturity to the management of his office. His approach has been characterized by extensive consultations, inclusiveness, respect for diverse opinions, and a commitment to ensuring that political competition does not undermine the peace and unity of Enugu State.”
CRPP observed that Anioma’s ability to maintain open communication with political leaders, community stakeholders, youth groups, support organizations, and party structures has strengthened confidence in the democratic process and reduced unnecessary political tensions.
The coalition further noted that Governor Mbah’s developmental initiatives across critical sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, economic development, and public service reforms, have created a governance environment that encourages constructive political engagement rather than divisive politics.
“We believe that the Governor’s unwavering focus on development, combined with the effective political coordination being undertaken by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, has helped create an atmosphere where governance remains the primary focus while political stakeholders continue to engage peacefully and responsibly.”
The coalition urged political actors across all parties to emulate the spirit of tolerance, civility, and responsible engagement being promoted in Enugu State, stressing that democracy thrives best where political competition is conducted peacefully and in the interest of the people.
“As the nation gradually moves towards the 2027 General Elections, it is important for political leaders and stakeholders to place national and state interests above personal ambitions. Peaceful political participation, mutual respect, and adherence to democratic principles remain essential ingredients for credible elections and sustainable development.”
CRPP reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen democratic institutions, promote peaceful coexistence, and encourage constructive participation in the political process.
The coalition expressed confidence that if the current atmosphere of political stability, inclusiveness, and responsible leadership is sustained, Enugu State will continue to serve as a shining example of democratic governance and political maturity in Nigeria.
