PDP Set For Rebirth Ahead 2019

The South-East caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has vowed to set the machinery in motion towards repositioning the party ahead of the 2019 general elections, TheStreetReporters.com has learnt.

Daily Post quoted the Enugu State Governor, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as saying the PDP governors in the zone would join hands in rebuilding the party.

Governor Ugwuanyi stated this in an address on the occasion of an interactive session with the PDP Post-Election Review Committee at Nike Lake Resort Hotel, Enugu.

According to the online medium, the governor described the session as apt as it would enable the PDP family gather and review its performance after the general election in
which the party admittedly performed below expectation to the teeming supporters and faithfuls.

Governor Ugwuanyi said the interactive session would afford
members of the party opportunity to thoroughly examine all factors and circumstances that led to the situation the party found itself with a view to moving it forward.

He expressed happiness that members of the committee, led by Senator Ahmed Markarfi, would do an excellent job to guide the party.

 The state chief executive assured the committee members that in Enugu State that PDP remains as strong as ever, having scored hundred percent in the contest for all positions in the recent elections.
