…As IGP Tasks New CPs on Improved Performance
The Nigeria Police Force has made announced new postings following the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu’s order for immediate posting of three new Commissioners of Police to states and another to a Police Formation at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The new deployment for states were for Adamawa, Imo and Plateau States, The Street Reporters Newspaper reports.
Police Spokesman, DCP Frank Mba named the new CPs as CP Olugbenga Adeyanju, for Adamawa State, CP Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede for Imo and CP Edward Chuka Egbuka for Plateau State, while CP Audu Adamu Madaki was posted to the FCID, Abuja.
“While enjoining the citizens of the affected States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation, the IGP charges the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors”, the Force Spokesman stated.
The statement noted that the postings were with immediate effect.
