It was a convivial atmosphere as Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo, a frontline gubernatorial aspirant in Anambra State meets a handful of his numerous supporters to intimate them of his vision of a New Anambra and the possibility of actualising it.

Known for punctuality and strong knack to keep to time, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo arrived early enough for the meeting to begin on time. His arrival charged the atmosphere as he took it upon himself to personally greet all the attendees.

A devoted Christian, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo started his address with songs of praise to God, reminiscing on his humble beginning as a trader in Onitsha main market and recalling how far God has brought him thus far. He stated without mincing words that his joining of politics is prophetic as his decision to join the gubernatorial race was triggered by God’s revelation to different people and to him in person thereby making the New Anambra Project a divine movement.

As one on a prophetic assignment, he vowed to be accountable to God and his conscience if given the opportunity to steer the wheels of the State. He reiterated his vision of massive industrialization of Anambra State using his international business contact to attract world class companies into Anambra State. He made mention of youths playing major role in his administration as young people will be given leadership opportunities, hence his administration will be youth driven. Albeit the essential crux of his working plan will be Job creation other aspects of good governance would receive adequate attention.

He extolled the leadership quality of the immediate former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi who he thanked for being a trailblazer of spectacular leadership in the state. He decried the current level of maladministration in the State, he promised to change the narrative and bring about a New Anambra State which we all be proud of.

In their reactions, some prominent attendees thanked him for making himself available for God to use, they pledged their unalloyed support and willingly made some financial donations to help drive the New Anambra Project.

The stakeholders maintained that a new and greater Anambra is possible with Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo, (Overdose), the CEO Wichtech Group and President and Founder Kingdom Care Foundation.
