Ugwuanyi Inspects Massive Projects at ESUT Teaching Hospital, Igbo-Eno
In his efforts to provide quality, accessible and affordable healthcare services for all residents of Enugu State, particularly in the rural communities, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi simultaneously began massive construction of hospitals and health centres across the geopolitical districts of the state.
On Tuesday, Governor Ugwuanyi inspected one of such massive projects going on simultaneously at ESUT Teaching Hospital, Igbo-Eno, Enugu North Senatorial District
After laying foundation for the construction of Amenity Complex at the General Hospital Ogrute, Enugu Ezike, in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, on Monday, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi took out time to inspect massive infrastructural projects going on simultaneously at the permanent site of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Teaching Hospital, Igbo-Eno, in Enugu North Senatorial District, located along Opi-Obollo Afor expressway.
Some of the construction works at the Igbo-Eno site include the ESUT Teaching Hospital complex; 2 blocks of 12-classroom faculty buildings; 2 blocks of 10-classroom faculty buildings and 2 blocks of 8-classroom faculty buildings, for the ESUT College of Medicine as well as industrial water borehole projects.
It would be recalled that the first phase of a Tertiary Hospital, Igbo-Eno, has been completed to serve as one of the facilities for the ESUT College of Medicine, which has been relocated to Nsukka in Enugu North Senatorial District.
