Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with members of the family of Sarkin Doyan Gombe over the death of their martriach, Hajiya Aishatu, popularly called Ta’annabi who died at the
age of 76 years after a protracted illness.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya, in a condolence message, described the late Hajiya Aishatu as an upright mother and strong family pillar with outstanding character of patience and discipline.
He lamented that Hajiya Ta’annabi died at a time her motherly love and wisdom were most needed, but counselled that “we must take solace in the fact that she lived a fruitful life characterised by service to Almighty Allah and impacted positively on the lives of her children and family.
The Governor also noted that the deceased left behind legacies of service and good character which will continue to be remembered and cherished in the family and beyond”.
Governor Yahaya conveyed the condolences of the government and people of Gombe state to her husband, Alhaji Manzo Sarkin Doya, her son, Kabir Ibn Mohammed who is also the Doctor General of Gombe Media Corporation ( GMC) and his siblings over the great loss, praying Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannat Firdaus.
