Easter: ALGON National President, Hon Alabi Kolade David Felicitates With Christians, Urges Joyful Celebration

The National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Alabi Kolade David has, on behalf of the association, felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

He reminded Christian faithfuls to be joyful at this auspicious time of the year “no matter our obvious difficulties and challenges.”

The Easter message reads,
“On behalf of the leadership of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), I heartily convey the greetings and wishes for a joyous occasion this Easter.

“No doubt the resurrection is at the core of belief of all Christians. Without it, the faith professed is meaningless.

“Let me remind us all to be joyful this time of the year no matter our obvious difficulties and challenges.

“Through the resurrection of Christ whose light illuminates the dark moments of our existence, it is my prayer that God will prevail with domestic peace, protect our collective interest for unity and development.
