The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State has commiserated with former Secretary to the State Government Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay on the passing of his mother Mrs Hannah Macaulay.

The late Mrs Macaulay died at 88 after a brief illness.

In a statement by the Chairman of the party in the area, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, the party said the passing of Mrs Macaulay was a great loss to the family and the entire Owhelogbo community and Isoko North in general.

“On behalf of the LGA Executive, party leaders and the entire membership of our great party in Isoko North Local Government, I condole with our dear leader Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay and the entire family over the passing of our dear matriarch Mrs Hannah Macaulay.

“Mrs Macaulay was a great woman and community leader who contributed immensely to the growth of the community and the church.

She was a great pillar of support to our leader and the entire family and we will surely miss her wise counsel.

“It is our prayer that God almighty will comfort her beloved family she had left behind.”
