Nigeria in Peace: Amedu Monday Harps On Need for Stakeholders’ Collaboration And To Act Fast
ā¦.Says It’s Becoming More Fragile Than Ever
The president of the Youth Education and Leadership Initiative (YELI) Dr. Amedu Monday has called on the Stakeholders in Nigeria to collaborate and act fast if not it would be so difficult to manage the peace of the Land any moment from now.
Dr. Amedu made this call in Abuja recently while installing peace leaders who could fight for the peace of the country for unity enhancements.
“you are nominated as change Ambassadors for peace and humanity which offers you contributions to the service of humanity,” he said.
Amedu noted that the purpose of this Peace Ambassador Award is to have Change Ambassadors who would keep promoting global peace and support the social and educational development of the country, stressing that it would go a long way in resolving the anti-social crisis we are facing in Nigeria today.
He also disclosed that the programme is in support of UN SDGs goal 17 which is focused on Peace Building, promotion of Justice and nonviolence, and Youth integral development as well as a societal positive change.
Change Ambassador for Peace and Humanity (CAPH) is in partnership with eight (8) other International NGOs including UNDESA, The World Leaders Forum Ireland, Save the Street Children Inc. USA, The Global Pioneers USA, The Canadian Health Science Institute, Peace Development/International Peace Committee on Law, Justice and Human Rights Romania, etc.

The theme of the event which is “#HeforShe in the actualization of the UN SDGs” was to spur awardees to become peace crusaders in their communities.
Responding to the gesture, Engr Dr. Patrick Samuel thanked the YELI Foundation for granting them an opportunity to contribute their quota to the peaceful development of the world at large.
The highlight of the occasion was the award of Honorary Degrees to recipients and the distribution of the Diplomatic Passport to the awardees.
