The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has urged Nigerians to put the country first above personal interests.
Adebayo made this known in his Eid-el-Kabir message to Nigerians.
“The Eid celebrations remind us that Allah SWT is a promise keeper and that in whatever circumstances we find ourselves as a people, no matter the storms or dark horizons, faith in God will always guarantee #HopeAgain to the faithful.
“Eid Mubarak to all my brothers and sisters home and abroad,” the presidential hopeful wrote on his Twitter handle on Saturday.
“As we honour the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah’s command, I urge all Nigerian to put Nigeria first above all other interests, irrespective of religion, political parties, ethnicity etc.
“Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful”, Prince Adewole Adebayo stated.
