Kogi Central AA Senatorial Candidate Sends Message of Hope To Constituents, Nigerians

Senatorial candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi State, Mallam Bello Muhammed popularly referred MBM, has sent message of hope amid several challenges facing the people of the Senatorial District, Nigerians and the entire Muslims across the country.

In his Eid-el-Kabir message, the young candidate said that despite the obstacles, Muslims should imbibe the virtues of Prophet Abraham who equally passed through similar phases but endured through them all.

In a chat with newsmen in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, MBM said, “My message to the entire Muslims world over and to myself is patience amidst situation of grieve or economic calamity.

“You know from history the origin of this celebration revolves around the aforementioned and as we have always learnt from our learned scholars prophet Ibrahim navigated through tests, tribulations ranging from family and societal politics that almost wrench his heart but he was a prophet of God.

“He passed all the trials in order for us his children to have a take home lesson as guide.
So I urge all the Muslims around the world to take bite of prophet Abraham’s virtues remain righteous and upright even in the face of the economic crises ravaging the nation”, Mallam Bello Muhammed said.

“The fact is that the story of prophet Abraham is a long one that I will urge every Muslim to at least have a bit knowledge of it from their mu’alims”, he added.

Asked about his preparation for the Kogi Central Senatorial race given the heavyweights he is up against, the smiling contender said, “well thank you, I think I wouldn’t like to politicize this interaction on this day but since you have asked, you know, one good thing about life is that human is only certain of his present situation. No one knows tomorrow.

“And again, no one comes into a senatorial race unprepared.
I’m the Senatorial flagbearer of the Action Alliance in Kogi Central and we understand the political dynamics of our society.

“So, when we get to the river we will sure cross it. But nobody should underestimate anybody. The unthinkable can happen”, he said.
