Alhaji Lam Onaolopo Adeshina, popularly known as Great Lam, was the Executive Governor of Oyo State between 1999 to 2003.
His Southwest Contemporaries were Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State; Aremo Segun Osoba, Ogun State; Chief Bisi Akande, Osun State; Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Ekiti State and Chief Adebayo Adefarati, Ondo State.
