“Victory In An Election As Serious As Governorship Or President Is Not For Sycophants. You Go For The Best To Secure Victory.”

“When John, with his entourage, visited me in my house at Ediba Qua Town, sometime early this year to discuss his candidacy as an Ejagham brother and longstanding friend, as one of the leading contenders, and were in the cause of the meeting, we had reason subsequently to dabbled into the argument on why he wasn’t comfortable with my parring him up with Prince Otu then, as his running mate in an article I wrote that went viral, stating his reason, we both agreed that even if they do not run together as a team, whoever among clinches the party’s ticket we shall work together. I presume what came up lately is the handiwork of the human Devils that abound.”

“I hereby use the opportunity given in this piece to congratulate distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh, who though prompted to accept to see reasons by the timely intervention of the Presidential candidate of our party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, who in turn hail their friendship, coupled with my earlier opened appeal to him where I emphasized the need for him and indeed all of us as old members of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Cross River, to do well to ignore the various temptations arising from those new members who defected with the present outgoing Governor into the party from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), many of whom, the Governor, in sustaining the magnanimity and uncommon generosity accorded them unduly, in the most unsavory opposition from us old members, he still did his mind to place them over us. That the issue is not these persons but the victory of the party we had all initially agreed to see to its victory, irrespective of who became the flag bearer. Now Prince Otu is.”

“I do not need anyone’s position. Let them make the money if that’s what will make them feel good to work for victory. And I seldom struggle for any. Let the more desperate get it. I wanted the National Publicity Secretary of our party on merit, but they stopped me from the state. I did everything as one of the most vociferous defenders of Mr. President, but our people conspired to block my Visitation and acknowledgment by Mr. President and the presidency. And since then, I have been playing my thankless role for humanity and now the party over the years and continue to do so because I have the love and the intellectual capacity, platform, and sufficient audience whom I have worked hard to attract, who are there to absorb my pleas to encourage the execution of what I know best to do as a veteran, selfless human and I need no endorsement from those who know less of what I know nor like me for what I stand for. I care less.”

“THE party should do its utmost best for everyone. Especially those who contested the Governorship primaries and spent a lot of money popularizing the party with particular reference singularly to Engr. Ben Akak who started his campaigns for Governorship quite early and spent a lot in philanthropic gestures across the length and breadth of the state, with a huge following, should be accommodated adequately to play a significant role in order not to quench the desire of his followers and their support for Prince Otu. Equally, to mention, Chief Chris Agara should be made to play a significant role in his capacity at the center as one who came next to John at the primaries. These men are strategic for the party and moment to lay down like that. You don’t ignore one, and expect him to cooperate, do you?”

In all of these, we thank the Lord God Almighty, for sparing our lives to see the new year of the Lord, 2023, in a few days.

I wish to reiterate this truism to my numerous audiences and ardent readers featured in well over nine online newspapers and platforms across Nigeria, irrespective of party affiliation, that for me as the catalyst and for over two years propagation, marketing, and with an analytical projection of my candidate and friend in the person of Prince Bassey Otu who eventually became the All Progressives Congress (APC) party’s candidate, through the cooperation of progressive individuals, not the now opportunist, I had always viewed his candidacy in a broader sense, not just on the bases of being from the South-South region alone, as the emphasis had been, but he’s is competitive.

Comrade Obi Ojage

He is, without missing words, the best all-around compared to those contesting with him. And will do well to explain that in a series of last-moment write-ups and prophetic posts we’re going to be dishing out to both the party members and the voting public.

And my willingness, subsequently, to shoot down any untoward misbehavior arising from the opponent’s recalcitrance. In the best of an Attack-Journslism from a veteran; at times like this one.

This is meant to keep the atmosphere, balanced at an equilibrium acceptable as the nom, for smooth and issue-based politicking or campaigns at the last minute as it were.

I hereby use the opportunity given in this piece to congratulate distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh, who though prompted to accept to see reasons by the timely intervention of the Presidential candidate of our party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, who in turn hail their friendship, coupled with my earlier opened appeal to him where I emphasize the need for him and indeed all of us as old members of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Cross River, to do well to ignore the various temptations arising from those new members who defected with the present outgoing Governor into the party from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), many of whom, the Governor, in sustaining the magnanimity and uncommon generosity accorded them unduly, in the most unsavory opposition from us old members, he still did his mind to place them over us.

That the issue is not these persons but the victory of the party we had all initially agreed to see to its victory, irrespective of who became the flag bearer. Now Prince Otu is.

When John, with his entourage, visited me in my house at Ediba Qua Town, sometime early this year to discuss his candidacy as an Ejagham brother and longstanding friend, as one of the leading contenders, and were in the cause of the meeting, we had reason subsequently to dabbled into the argument on why he wasn’t comfortable with my parring him up with Prince Otu then, as his running mate in an article I wrote that went viral, stating his reason, we both agreed that even if they do not run together as a team, whoever among clinches the party’s ticket we shall work together. I presume what came up lately is the handiwork of the human Devils that abound.

And this information, I relayed to Prince Otu, my meeting with Senator Owan, and that aspect of our discussion. Both Owan and Prince have evolved. They did not jump from 1 to 10, without passing through 9 as is the case with our opponents.

That’s a misnomer. Is against natural laws. And is a vexation to the heart of genuine seekers. Those in support of such an anomaly, should repent and come on board and be in terms with reality.

I am pretty sure that the playout subsequently between John and Prince, was the work of the human devil. Thank goodness, that is behind us, going by the words of Owan himself. And I believe him.

Both Owan and Prince, as old members of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) spent their resources, love, and time, to keep the party alive to attract those who eventually came on board and hijack everything leaving the rest of us gasping for breathing, asking how the hell, did it all happened? Senator John Owan Enoh and Prince Bassey Otu

Everything that has a begging surely must come to an end. These mindless people. They’re doing their best to recycle themselves, in every section where there is money for a campaign, the position themselves. No problems, time will tell.

Money and opportunity never finished, it’s ideas that rejuvenate and magnetize those occurrences. Men with ideas don’t need to be unduly accommodated, rather, their desirous and are in high demand by those who want results, including genuine and committed followers, not platitudes.

The part should do its utmost best for everyone.

You don’t ignore one, and expect him to cooperate, do you?

This is no time to apportion blame, it’s time to unite to attain victory. The People’s Democratic Party in Cross river is no pushover even though we shall defeat them, it’s not going to be a walkover affair, it needs Unity of direction and purpose.

Make whatever money you want to make, as chairman or what have you, it’s your time, but let all of your schemes result in victory for Prince Otu. That’s the bottom line. Talk is cheap!

I do not need anyone’s position. And seldom struggle for any. Let the more desperate get it. I wanted the National Publicity Secretary of our party on merit, but they stopped me from the state. I did everything as one of the most vociferous defenders of Mr. President, they conspired to block my Visitation and acknowledgment by Mr. President and the presidency. I have been playing my thankless rule for humanity and now the party over the years and continue to do so because I have the love and the intellectual capacity, platform, and sufficient audience whom I have worked hard to attract, who are there to absorb my pleas to encourage the execution of what I know best to do as a veteran, and I need no endorsement from those who know less of what I know nor like me for what I stand for. I care less.

Truth be told that I had never for once insisted or pushed forward the demand to be this or that in the party locally, I had allowed those who know my worth to invite me as required, where they failed, I stay put and go on with the professional rule I play as a better-experienced politician, which I am, not those who are politicians because they’ve been favored with political appointments.

And nobody could have or had the powers to sideline me over what I had an interest over, none can. I barely stayed at loff and let the journey just come, to do as they choose all because of godfatherism. After all, they can’t do what I do without money. Even when they are given it, they eat it without doing the job. Evil men!

Prince has, and would always be my friend. And indeed a friend to everybody because of his obsequiousness. We are working jointly to make sure he is the Governor of our dear state, the Lord willing.

Play your role, I am doing mine. I never talk negatively about people to those I relate with to discourage them, but people do that against me a lot. Time alone will tell who’s right and who’s wrong. Let us win first. That’s the first charge. Happy New Year, Dud.
