ANSAA Enforcement Team Continues To Take Down Campaign Billboards In Anambra

Over the days, Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency (ANSAA), has continued with massive removal of campaign materials of political parties, candidates and campaigners in the state.

The advertising regulator in the state noted that the effected adverts failed to pay their political campaign permit fee, that of those who have violated the agency’s guidelines through the usage of illegal billboards and those defacing public utilities through their campaign materials across the State.

The Enforcement team took it’s enforcement to Onitsha, Aguata, Ekwulobia, Enugwu Ukwu, Igbo Ukwu, Awka, and Nnewi.

Those that are yet to pay their political campaign permit fees “and those that are deliberately defaulting were advised to come to ANSAA office Awka to pay and also seek the advice of the agency on the appropriate usage of billboards across the state.

“There are rules, procedures and regulations guiding the mounting of billboards, pasting of bills and posters in Anambra State which must be strictly adhered to”, the agency said.
