May 29: CNPP Enugu Bids Governor Ugwuanyi Farewell, Describes Him As Indefatigable & Amiable

Ahead of the May 29 handover date, the Enugu State chapter of the Conference Of Nigeria Parties (CNPP) has, while bidding farewell to the outgoing Governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi, described him as indefatigable and amiable Governor of the state who will be missed by all.

The umbrella body of all registered political parties and political associations in the state noted in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Dr. Afam Samuel Ani, and the Secretary, Hon Aduaka Anthony A., noted that the “usual saying that whatever has a beginning must have an end is about to play out in the tenure of Rt (Hon) Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi.”

According to them, “On the 29th of May, 2023, His Excellency will bow out after eight years of navigating the leadership boat of Enugu state.

“The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP), wishes to bid His Excellency farewell and wish him the best of luck in all your future endeavours.”

The CNPP recalled that the Governor mounted the leadership saddle in 2015 and his “landmark achievements in the arears of Infrastructures, health, judiciary, education, roads, rural development, security,peace and tranquility in the state,etc speaks for itself.

“Infact, you wrote your name on the marbles of Enugu state as the best inter- party friendly governor in the whole of Nigeria and the citizens of the state appreciate you Sir.

“Infact, you are the hero of your time and democracy for always conducting local government elections in the state as at when due which other states of the federation are finding difficult to implement.

“The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP), the poor and needy, the disabled and all the citizens of Enugu state will miss you, especially the civil servants who always smile to the bank at the end of every month without been owed a dime of their salary,the achievements are endless.

“Goodbye your Excellency and God be with you”, the CNPP stated.
