Council Boss Appreciates Governor Soludo As Work Begins At Nnobi, Oba Gully Erosion Sites

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Idemili) has appreciated Anambra State Government led by Professor Charles Soludo for the quick intervention on Nnobi-Nkpor and Oba gully erosion sites.
Hon. Amaka Obi commended Professor Charles Soludo for embarking on remediation work to mitigate gully erosion in Nnobi and Oba communities, stating that Charly Nwamgbafor’s quick intervention saved lives.
She noted that the remediation work marked the end of the trauma, uncertainty, loss of properties in the two communities and a new beginning for proper environmental and waste management, praising Governor Charles Soludo for fulfilling the promises he made few weeks ago at Nnobi Federal Health Centre.
Council boss also lauded Infrastructure Development Construction Company (IDC) and urged residents in the affected communities to cooperate with contractors handling the projects.
