Monarch Felicitates Governor Peter Mbah on His Birth Anniversary

A South East traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Eze-Igwe Willy Ezugwu, on behalf of the people of his domain, has congratulated the Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah on his birth anniversary.

The monarch, who doubles as the Eze Ogbozarra Opi Ancient Kingdom and Igwe of Ibagwa Opi Autonomous Community, said in his birthday message that “Governor Peter Mbah has, since assumption of office, done well in several sectors, including security, infrastructure provision, among others.

“On behalf of the good people Ibagwa and the entire Ogbozarra Opi, I take a special note of your transformational leadership, on this occasion, in area of the historic resolution of the over 20 years lack of pipe borne water in Enugu, a jinx Governor Mbah has broken within 180 days in office.

“This is not a time to assess the performance of the award-winning exemplary leadership of the Dr Peter Mbah administration but what is worth mentioning is the unprecedentedly space of road construction ongoing, with over 1000 kilometers of road already awarded in Enugu State, especially in Enugu Urban, which is experiencing massive road construction.

While congratulating the Governor on his new age, the traditional ruler prayed God to give Governor Mbah’s new age with “wisdom and understanding required for a successful four years in office.

“Happy birthday your Exellency and may God continue to be your guide throughout the remaining days of your tenure in office”, the monarch prayed.
