1st Anniversary: Asiwaju-Shettima Group Felicitates Governor Nwifuru, Says He Surpassed Expectations in Ebonyi State

A support group of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Asiwaju Shettima Mandate Group (ASMG), Ebonyi State Chapter, has extended their hearty goodwill message and felicitations to the “ever listening and humane Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as he marks one year of a promise made and kept under the people’s charter of needs mantra.”

In a statement signed by the State, Coordinator, Comrade Aloke Okafor Andrew, popularly known as Asiwaju in Ebonyi State political arena on behalf of the entire members of support group, the ASMG said, “His Excellency, it’s glaring to every Ebonyian that you have surpassed our expectations from you within your one year in Office.

“Your administration which came under the mantra of people’s charter of needs, has been able to implement a balanced governance which cuts across all parts of the State and leadership strata, ranging from human capital development, Health, Education, agriculture, Infrastructure and industrialization, just to mention but a few.

“In human capital development, you increased the salaries of civil servants by 20k, paid 100k Christmas bonus, paid arrears of gratuity to all retires, processing recruitment of 1500 civil servants, introduced empowerment of Hawkers with 2M, etc.”, the group noted.

Highlighting more achievements of Governor Nwifuru in the last one year, the ASMG added that “In Health, you employed 195 medical personnel,  approved 11 Billion for hospital equipment, procurement of SUV cars for doctors and ambulance for hospitals, upgraded allowances and renovated primary health centers, enrollment of civil servants into health insurance scheme, Establishment of Ebonyi teaching hospital.

“In Education, you increased EBSU subvention, increased Ebsu staff salaries by 20 and 10 percents, respectively for academic and non academic staff, returned our scholarship scheme.

“In Agriculture, you revamped of Ebonyi State integrated poultry farm at Nkaliki , revitalized our fertilizer board and many others.

“On infrastructure, you have been able to build thousands of kilometers of roads across the capital city and the rural areas, building bungalows for those displaced by war.
In industrialization, you revitalized Ebonyi pipe production industry and reactivated the Umuogara waste to wealth recycling plant by procuring all the needed machines.
This to mention but a few”, the Tinubu – Shettima support group in the state said.

Speaking further in the goodwill and felicitations message, the group told the Governor that “You not only brought peace to waring communities in the state but made sure the opposition is brought together to move the state forward as a united entity.

“Ebonyians are happy with you and appreciate your humane dispositions towards governance.
We never expected this level of speed, as you have broken the record of one year in office.

“As a people, we indeed has allot to celebrate to Mark this one year in office, we will continue to offer you our unflinching support and solidarity.

“This is indeed democracy in action, we’re very happy with you.
Bravo the most humane, listening and passionate leader Ebonyi ever had”, Comrade Aloke stated.
