Pro-June 12 activists, under the aegis of Coaliton of Pro-Democracy Groups for A Better Nigeria, have explained why President Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot be blamed for none May 29 speech amid economic woes.
In a statement signed its national coordinator, Comrade Awa Bamiji, the Coalition reminded Nigerians that “June 12 is democracy day since 2018 by former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, Proclaimation and we all know this.”
The activists noted that “May 29, is for celebration of one year in Office and no longer democracy day that is meant to render the account of stewardship by the Government, this is vital information and quick reminder to all of us most especially for those missing President Bola Tinubu’s voice.
“Asiwaju will continue to win you and your series of lies. Economic situation is though worrisome due to accumulated and inherited problems of the past administrations and we are all feeling it together irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation but yet, with our collective cooperation and understanding of fuel subsidy’s removal, he has been able to perform above the average level, still have three years more to continue tackling the problems and the earlier policy reforms will start yielding fruits soon. No pain, no gain!
“I salute you, all patriotic Nigerians, for being steadfast and forward looking as we move ahead with this new administration”, Comrade Awa Bamiji said.
