Delta Governor Celebrates Owa Monarch’s 65th Coronation Anniversary
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Obi of Owa Kingdom, HRM Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, on his 65th coronation anniversary. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, on Saturday in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori praised the revered traditional ruler for his peaceful and compassionate leadership.
The Governor described Obi Efeizomor as a wonderful representation of harmony and peace, who has made good use of his position to benefit his people and the state. He noted that the Owa kingdom has experienced significant improvements in human capital and infrastructural development, as well as enduring peace, under the monarch’s reign.
Governor Oborevwori commended Obi Efeizomor for promoting peaceful coexistence in Owa land and among neighboring communities, exercising his fatherly role, and offering sage advice. He valued the monarch’s leadership and wise efforts in establishing Delta State as a peaceful state, particularly during his tenure as Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers.
The Governor also acknowledged Obi Efeizomor’s contributions to the advancement of his kingdom and the state, describing him as a renowned statesman, peace maker, and patriot. He congratulated the monarch on behalf of his family, the government, and people of Delta, thanking God Almighty for his life and wishing him many more years of peaceful and prosperous reign.
