Translate Nigeria Constitution Into Native Languages For Easy Comprehension — Dr James

Dr. Raphael James, the Director General and Founder of Centre for Research, Information and Media Development (CRIMMD), in Lagos has called on the Nigerian Senate and the House of Representative to devote more time in doing their responsibilities at the National Assembly.

He then called for a bill that will enable the translation of the Nigeria Constitution into different Nigeria languages.

He spoke during his 45 minutes interview on ‘Close Flow’ and NTA 2 Channel 5 program on Monday, March 10, 2025. Dr James who runs the pioneer private Museum of Nigeria History with close to 45,000 photos and thousands of artifacts, noted that there are Nigerians who can read and write their native languages but who may not be able to read and write in English language and as such they should not be denied assets of understanding what their rights are in the constitution.

James is a historic and educative tourist, that have visited 35 out of 36 states of Nigeria and documented over 610 tourist sites, he is the Publisher of African Dame and The National Biographer Magazines; an author of over 23 published books and has donated over 70, 000 books to schools in Nigeria as at February 14, 2025.

He also runs a free public library in the last 20 year with over 45, 000 books, a Recipient of 290 Awards.
