In a decisive move to bolster Nigeria’s immigration framework, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the extension of Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap’s tenure as Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) until December 31, 2026.
This announcement by Presidential Spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, The Street Reporters Newspaper gathered, underscores the President’s commitment to enhancing national security and modernizing immigration processes.
Mrs. Nandap, who embarked on her illustrious career with the NIS on October 9, 1989, has been at the helm since March 1, 2024.
