Former Deputy Governor Mannir Yakubu Mourns Deaths of Prominent Katsina Figures

Former Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Mannir Yakubu, has extended heartfelt condolences to the families of Alhaji Salisu Ado Shinkafi and Alhaji AD Saude following the passing of Alhaji Sanusi AD Saude and Alhaji Salisu Ado Shinkafi after prolonged illnesses.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Musa Kallah, Yakubu described the death of Alhaji Salisu Ado Shinkafi as a profound loss to his family and the people of Katsina State. He highlighted Shinkafi’s extensive contributions, noting his service as a former Chairman of the Pilgrims Welfare Board and his involvement in various governmental roles under past administrations.

“His wise counsel and steadfast commitment to public service will be sorely missed by stakeholders across the state,” Yakubu stated.

Yakubu also offered his sympathies to the family of Alhaji AD Saude over the loss of Alhaji Sanusi AD Saude, who was an uncle to the current Chairman of Katsina Local Government, Hon. Isa Mikdad.

Praying for the departed souls, Yakubu asked Allah to grant them Jannatul Firdaus and to provide strength and comfort to their grieving families. Both deceased were laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.

“May Allah shower His infinite mercy and blessings upon them,” he prayed.
